Confidence with Challenges

What do you do when facing a difficult problem or a seemingly (1) insurmountable (2) challenge? Do you crumple (3) on the floor in defeat, or do you stand up tall, ready to come up with a game plan (4) and a list of steps to tackle (5) the situation head-on (6)?  If you are ever tempted to just throw in the towel (7), then read on to find out a couple of ways to face your biggest challenges.

First of all, try to think of the situation in a new way.  It can be very helpful to make a list of small tasks that need to be accomplished as you move toward completing the larger overall task.  Doing this can open your eyes to the fact that the smaller tasks are indeed very feasible (8).  Then, by completing each of these smaller tasks one by one, a great feeling of accomplishment begins to seep in (9), bringing with it a wonderful sense of possibility.

If you happen to feel stumped (10) by one of the smaller tasks, reach out to someone you know who has knowledge or expertise in that particular area, or do a bit of research online to find a solution.  By simply taking a couple of proactive steps, you may discover that your challenge is much easier to face and that you have a renewed sense of confidence to see it through (11)!
